Description: Learn how to start onboarding to Workforce Management.
First, log in to the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub.
Select Location
The Workforce Management landing page will be visible to all Customer Hub users. However, only the Customer Hub Admin/Owner Account can activate Workforce Management.
If the user has access to multiple locations, select the location for which Workforce Management will get activated.
Review Employees
Users should ensure that all employee records are current. Please review the accuracy of employee details, including first and last name, mobile phone number (for access to Workforce Mobile App) exists, and job(s) assigned with pay rate as needed.
Workforce Management Landing Page
Once ready, users can proceed to the Workforce Management landing page. Users can access this page from the Admin left navigation menu and by selecting Workforce Management.
On the Workforce Management landing page, two activation buttons are visible (top and bottom). Select the Activate Workforce button to initiate the activation process.
Review Terms & Conditions
Users must review and accept the Terms and Conditions for using Workforce Management before onboarding can begin.
Select Accept to proceed or Cancel to return to the Workforce landing page.
Activation & Onboarding Process
Once the user accepts the Terms and Conditions, the activation process begins.
Once the activation process is completed, a message banner appears at the top of the screen, letting the user know that the onboarding process will take up to 10 minutes to complete.
The onboarding process includes synchronizing and setting up data in Workforce. Users should not refresh the screen during this process, and are automatically returned to the Customer Hub when completed.
Users can refresh their browsers after returning to the Customer Hub or wait for the Customer Hub's auto-refresh (every 60 seconds). Once this happens, Workforce will appear in the Admin Menu with new sub-menu items.
Once this occurs, Workforce Management is now activated and ready to use.
Access Workforce Management
Employees and Jobs are still created and managed in the Customer Hub.
Select the Scheduler and Timecards tabs to open the Workforce UI.
