Verify and Add Card Types for Dynamics 365

Description: Card types will most likely already be populated in the Payment Methods form. However, you should verify that all desired card types are present and that the fields match with the appropriate card type mapping.

Card types and ID names for mapping: 

ID Name for mapping	Card type
AMEXPRESS	American Express
DISCOVER	Discover card
MASTER	Mastercard
VISA	Visa
DEBIT	Debit cards

To verify:

1. Navigate to Modules > Retail and Commerce > Channel setup > Payment methods > Card Types
2. Verify that fields for American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, and Debit Card have IDs AMEXPRESS, DISCOVER, MASTER, VISA, and DEBIT respectively.

Note: If any are missing, add the payment methods by selecting ‘New’ and fill in ID, Electronic payment name, Type, and Issuer fields as shown above.
