Software Availability and Requirements
In order to integrate with Mailchimp, be sure your POS system and software match the minimum requirements.

Harbortouch Hospitality, POSitouch, Future POS, Focus POS, and Restaurant Manager require an additional software component to connect the POS to Lighthouse (Shift4’s cloud platform). Once installed, this enables data synchronization and allows Marketplace apps and integrations to become available and visible in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM). Please contact support or your dealer for assistance.
Note: This requirement does not apply to SkyTab POS, which is natively connected to Lighthouse and does not require any additional software.

Creating a Mailchimp Account
If you do not have a Mailchimp account, you can sign up before installing the Mailchimp application. This can also be done after the installation is complete.
- Log in to Lighthouse Business Manager and select Marketplace in the left navigation sidebar. Choose Mailchimp, then select Homepage under the “Partner Links” section to inquire about becoming a Mailchimp customer. Alternatively, you can go here.
- In the top left corner, select Sign Up Free and create your account.
- Once you have created your account, follow the steps in the next section to install Mailchimp (if you have not done so already).
Installing the Mailchimp Marketplace Application
- Log in to Lighthouse Business Manager.
- Select Marketplace from the left navigation bar, then select Mailchimp. Select View Details to access the Mailchimp application page.
- Select Install.
Note: If the application prompts you to “Request POS Upgrade,” you must select that and follow the prompts to arrange for a software update before you can continue with the installation. - The application will now install into Marketplace, and Mailchimp will be granted access to your location.
- Once the process is complete, you will see a green checkmark, indicating a successful installation. You will also see Mailchimp listed in the left navigation sidebar. Once installed, you can manage your account and can uninstall the application at any time.
