Description: Learn how to enable refund permissions in the Shift4 Customer Hub for users.
By default, Admins have refund permissions, whereas Customer Hub users are disabled for refund permissions.
To enable a user for refunds:
- Log in to the Customer Hub and select Profile > Users located on the left navigation menu.
- Locate the user from the list or use the search function to find them by name, then select the user to edit their details.
- On the Edit User window, select the Permissions dropdown.
- Select the right arrow next to Transactions, then place a check mark in the checkbox for "Refund transactions".
- Select the Update button and then Save.
