Dashboard
The Dashboard is our modern take on business information, presented through widgets. This page gives you the option to see information about your reporting, social media accounts, and even the weather.

This icon on the top left removes the navigation bar to give you a full-screen experience. |

The Layout section on the top of the Dashboard allows you to edit the widgets. This would be to add, delete and rearrange the widgets. You can also drag and drop the widgets within the Dashboard page itself. |

Widget Setup
The Dashboard in Lighthouse is completely customizable thanks to widgets. Setup can be done from the Dashboard by selecting the Layout option in the upper right corner of the screen.Under the Layout section, there is an option to Add New Widget, which displays all available widgets and allows you to add any of them to your current dashboard. Multiple copies of the same widgets can be used as well. Follow the steps below to add a widget to the dashboard:
- Select the "+" plus sign to add a widget.
- Select the trash can icon to remove a widget.
- Navigating within the widget can be done using the "<" or ">" arrows.
- If viewing the site on a mobile phone or a tablet, you can use the swiping motion.
The next part of the Layout section displays the widgets currently in use and allows users to remove unnecessary widgets or relocate widgets to a different location within the dashboard. The "<" or ">" arrows can be used to rearrange the widgets.
There is no need to select Save from the Layout section, as changes are saved automatically. Select the Layout button again to return to your Dashboard screen.
Widgets Overview
Below you will find all available widgets with an image and description.
Batch Summary
Displays the batch summary and allows you to Generate Batch Report.
Clocked-In Employees
Displays a list of clocked-in employees and elapsed shift time. When the elapsed time is over 8 hours, the text for that employee turns red to indicate they may be on overtime pay.
Daily Top Items
Displays a list of the top-selling items for the day at the time of login. This widget will display 5 items, but can house up to 10 with the use of a show-all option.
Deposits
Displays the most recent deposit. If no deposit has been received, the widget will display as shown.
Deposit Summary
Displays the deposit summary and allows you to Generate Deposit Report.
Discounts
Displays the number of discounts used that day as well as the monetary value of the discounts.
Email Campaigns
Multiple screen options depending on the chosen state of the widget.
Guests
Displays the total number of guests for the hour. Displays an average dollar amount based on the number of guests and the total ticket number.
Labor Statistics
Provides Labor information based on the 4 areas shown to the right.
Net Sales
The gear at the top right can be used to change settings for Type (Net or Gross), View, and Totals Period. Select Save Changes to keep your settings.
- The view determines what format the widget will be shown in. The options are :
- Detail - Displays a graph and sales total
- Table - Displays a table with weekly sales totals
- Simple - Shows the sales total only
- The Totals Period option gives you the ability to change the time frame the widget is showing. The options are:
- Today’s Total
- Week’s Total
- Week to Date
Online Reputation
Multiple screen options depending on the chosen state of the widget.
Open Tickets
Displays the number of open tickets.
Payment Methods
Displays a pie chart with a breakdown of payment methods used during the day.x
Ticket Turnaround Time
Displays the average ticket time from creation to close.
Voids
Displays the number of voids used that day as well as the monetary value of the discounts.
Weather
Displays the current weather for your location.
The Legacy Dashboard
This page has the same icons and toggles as the new Dashboard for navigation and moving between the Dashboards. It also shows information for all accounts linked to your Lighthouse user account. You can change the timeframe the page shows, as well as the views of the section.
The available timeframes are:
- Current Business Day
- Last Business Day
- Week To Date
- Last Week
- Month To Date
- Last Month
- Year To Date
- Last Year
On the section itself, the view can be changed using the icon in the top right corner of each section.
At the bottom of the page, we provide Processing Details for you as well. The view will follow the account selected from the navigation board, and you can update the time frames. The available timeframes are the same as shown above, except for the year options.
