The Invoices Dashboard provides a real-time overview of your invoice activity, helping you monitor outstanding balances, payment statuses, and due dates.
Log into Lighthouse Business Manager and select Invoices which takes you to the dashboard.
Dashboard Overview
When you log into Shift4 Invoices, you'll land on the Invoices Dashboard by default. At the top, you'll see key invoice metrics, including:
- Outstanding Invoices: The total number of unpaid invoices.
- Month-to-Date Paid Invoices: The number of invoices paid this month.
- Scheduled: The number of invoices with upcoming scheduled payments.
- Overdue Invoices: The number of past-due invoices that remain unpaid.
Review Invoice Details
Below the dashboard metrics, you'll see a list of invoices with key details, including:
- Customer Name: The recipient of the invoice.
- Invoice: A unique identifier for each invoice.
- Due Date: When payment is expected.
- Balance: The remaining balance on the invoice.

Status: The current state of the invoice:
- Paid: Fully paid
- Open: Balance still due (may be partial if a payment has been made)
- Overdue: Payment due date has passed, and the invoice remains unpaid
- Scheduled: A payment is scheduled for a future date
- Void: The invoice has been canceled and is no longer active
Manage Invoices
The Invoices Dashboard allows you to take action on invoices directly:

Copy Payment Link: Select the copy icon next to an invoice to copy the payment page link to your clipboard and share it with the customer.

View Invoice Details: Select any blue highlighted Invoice Number to access detailed payment history, resend the invoice, or take other necessary actions.

Process: Apply a payment immediately.

Schedule payment: Set up a payment for a future date.

Email: Send the invoice to the customer via email.

Add New: Select + Add New to create a new invoice, add customer details, itemize charges, and send it out for payment.
Search and Filter Invoices
To quickly find a specific invoice, use the search bar to look up invoices by:
- Customer name
- Invoice number
- Status
- Amount due
You can filter invoices by date range to view past or upcoming ones.
