Use the Payment Portal for Secure Invoice Payments

Description: Learn how customers can securely pay their Shift4 invoices online using a credit card on the Payment Portal.

To pay invoices:

1. Customers will be directed to the Payment Portal when they select the payment link in their invoice email. 
   
   At the top of the page, they will see the business logo, the invoice number, and the remaining balance due.
2. Customers must complete their contact details before proceeding with payment. They will enter:
   
   • First and last name
   • Billing address (street address, city, state, ZIP code, country)
   • Phone number
3. Select credit card payment.
   
   1. The payment amount is automatically set to the balance due but can be adjusted if partial payments are allowed.
   2. Customers enter their credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code.
4. For added security, customers can choose to save their payment details for future transactions.
5. Once all required fields are completed, select Confirm & Pay to process the payment.
