Overview
The Menu reports provide visibility into menu structure and pricing data. They can be used for tasks such as:
- Reviewing menu item setup and pricing
- Analyzing cost and markup information
- Exporting menu data for reference or updates
Note: None of the Menu reports require a date range. Data reflects the current menu configuration at the time the report is generated.

Menu Item Detail
Purpose
The Menu Item Detail Report provides detailed information about menu items in the POS system. It is commonly used to export menu data or to evaluate menu pricing and food cost.
Running the Report
- Log in to Lighthouse Business Manager.
- Navigate to Reporting > Reports.
- Select SkyTab POS and the desired location(s).
- Select Menu Item Detail.
- Select Generate. The report displays on the screen. You can also download or print it.
Menu (Simple)
Purpose
The Menu (Simple) Report provides a basic listing of menu items by department, showing only the item name and price. It is useful for quick reference or for generating a simple view of the current menu.
Inactive items do not appear in this report.
Running the Report
- Log in to Lighthouse Business Manager.
- Navigate to Reporting > Reports.
- Select SkyTab POS and the desired location(s).
- Select Menu (Simple).
- Select Generate. The report displays on the screen. You can also download or print it.
Menu with Description
Purpose
The Menu with Description Report provides a comprehensive listing of menu items, including each item’s name, description, and price. This report helps review menu presentation, verify item descriptions, and ensure pricing accuracy before publishing menus or digital displays.
Running the Report
- Log in to Lighthouse Business Manager.
- Navigate to Reporting > Reports.
- Select SkyTab POS and the desired location(s).
- Select Menu with Description.
- Select Generate. The report displays on the screen. You can also download or print it.
