Description: Manual Credit Card entry can be used if there are problems with the Onboard Card Reader on your SkyTab POS Workstation or if the customer's card cannot be swiped or dipped.
Note: Your Credit Tender will need to have the Allow Manual Entry turned ON to use this feature.
Note: This task is only intended for SkyTab POS Workstations and SkyTab Glass devices using the Onboard Reader. If you have a PIN pad attached to your POS system, you can manually enter Credit Cards on the device.
- On the Payments screen, select the Credit Manual tender.
Note: If your system has not been configured correctly, you will first need to attempt to process using the Credit Tender. If it fails, return to the Payments screen by pressing the back arrow. You will then be able to select Credit Manual. - Enter as many of the card details as you can (Name, Card Number, Expiration Date, CVV, and ZIP) in the provided fields and press Process when you are finished.
Please note the following restrictions when using the Credit Manual tender:
