Description: Enable gift cards for SkyTab SOLO and learn how to use gift card services from within the application with the steps below.
Important: Please refer to the article Register a Device to ensure that the A930 Serial Number is registered in Archos.
Enable Gift Card Services
The service has to be enabled from Titan for the gift card option to appear on your SkyTab SOLO application. You can use the following instructions to add the services to an account needing to use gift cards on SkyTab SOLO.

Locate the account in Titan and navigate to the Services tab.

Select the “+” sign at the bottom left of the window and locate the Skytab Gift/IYC service, then select OK.
Adjust the Date and Time

The device has to have the Date and Time settings configured properly for the gift card button to be visible from the SkyTab SOLO application. To do this, exit out of the SkyTab SOLO application and go to the device's Settings. If prompted, enter the password 9876. If this password is unsuccessful, newer models may use the password pax9876@@.

Select Date & time from the Settings menu under 'System.'
Note: For the PAX A800 device, you will need to select System in order to get to the Date & Time settings as opposed to scrolling down the settings screen on A80/ A930 devices.

When Date & time is displayed, enable Automatic date & time and Automatic time zone.
Important: If the time shows incorrectly on the device after making the Date and Time settings automatic, do not turn them off to manually correct it. These options need to remain automatic to allow communication with Lighthouse and for the gift cards to work.
Enable Gift Cards on SOLO
- Launch the SOLO app, then tap on the three lines in the top left corner to get into Settings.
- Tap on Additional Features.
- Toggle on/off to enable the Gift Card feature.
Add Balance

Tap on Add Balance.

Enter the amount you want to add, then tap Add Balance.
- Swipe or enter the gift card number to which you would like to add the balance.
Important: As with other Standalone terminals, a separate transaction or payment type will need to be accepted to pay for the balance being added to the gift card.
Check Balance

Tap on Check Balance.
- Swipe or enter the gift card number that you want to check the balance for.
Redeem
- Tap on Pay Custom Amount on the main menu.
- Enter the dollar amount that you want to redeem, and then select Continue.
- Select the Gift Card tender option.

If any tips are being accepted, enter the tip amount, then tap Continue.
- Swipe or enter the gift card number that you want to redeem.
Print Report

Tap on Print Report.
- A report will be printed out containing the following information.
