What is causing this Issue?
An employee may appear as “Busy” when you attempt to schedule them in Workforce Management for the following reasons:
- Availability Conflict: The employee has marked themselves as unavailable during the shift time you are trying to schedule.
- Employee Works a Second Job Using Workforce Management: If the employee is employed by another organization that also uses Workforce Management, their availability may be reserved for that employer. When they make themselves available for their second job, Workforce Management prevents scheduling conflicts by marking them as Busy for your location.
How do I resolve this Issue?
- Ask the Employee to Review Their Availability
Have the employee check their availability settings in Workforce Management and adjust them if needed. - Confirm Scheduling Conflicts Across Jobs
If the employee works for multiple employers using Workforce Management, ensure they are not scheduled or marked as available at another workplace during the same time. - Retry Scheduling
Once the employee updates or corrects their availability, attempt to schedule the shift again.
