Set Up Clear Ticket Settings for Prep and Expo Stations on the Kitchen Display System

Description: Learn to control how tickets are cleared from prep stations on the Kitchen Display System (KDS) by using the Clear Tickets settings, including the Clear by Item or Clear by Order options.

Set Up Clear Tickets in Settings

1. Select the gear icon located at the bottom-left to open Settings.
2. Select Ticket Actions on the left of the settings screen. In the Clear Tickets section, select Clear by Item or Clear by Order.
   Note: On the KDS Bump Bar, use the scroll wheel to select one of the options.
   • The "Clear by Item" options allow individual items to be marked as fulfilled and clears the ticket automatically once all items have been selected. 
     Note: Items with a green background indicate they are selected/fulfilled.
   • The "Clear by Order" option allows clearing out the ticket by selecting the Complete button at the bottom of the ticket or by selecting the Bump Ticket on the KDS Bump Bar.
     This option includes two additional settings:
     • The "Only if all items are fulfilled" option allows clearing the ticket if all items are selected/fulfilled.
       Note: Items with a green background indicate they are selected/fulfilled.
     • The "Show Complete Button" option displays the Complete button at the bottom of the ticket and should be chosen if a Bump Bar is not being used to complete tickets.
3. Select Done to apply the changes.
