Description: Learn how to set up clock out restrictions for a specific job on SkyTab POS.
Note: You will require manager permissions to complete this process.
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Users > Jobs.
- Select the job from the list on the left side of the screen to set restrictions.
- Select the pull-down within Clock Out Restrictions.

Choose from the three different options:
These restrictions are designed to ensure that a user completes specific actions that help ensure the system is properly balanced at the End of Day.- Complete Tickets: (Default Option for all newly created jobs and existing jobs that get this setting). The employee is able to clock out after all open tickets are transferred/closed. The employee does not need to adjust tips or perform a cash count. The clock out button is always enabled and allows a user to clock out as long as they do not have any open tickets.
- Complete Tickets and Tips: The employee is only able to clock out after all open tickets and tips are completed. The employee does not need to perform a cash count. The Clock Out button is not active until checklist items for open tickets and pending tips are at 0 and have the green checkmark.
- All Restrictions: The employee is only able to clock out after all open tickets, tips, and cash counts are completed. The Clock Out button is not active until all checklist items for open tickets, pending tips, and cash count are at 0 and have the green checkmark.
- Tap Save to complete.
