Description: Learn how to set up cash handling permission for a specific job on SkyTab POS.
Note: You will require manager permissions to complete this process.
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Users > Jobs.
- Select the job from the list on the left side of the screen to set restrictions.
- Select the pull-down within Job Cash Handling.
- Choose from the three different options:
These options are designed to allow you to set a specific cash handling permission that guarantees a user operates as expected and has the simplest workflow for clocking in and out.
- Cash Drawer: This is the default setting. The employee uses physical cash drawers when clocked in with this job.
- Employee Bank: The employee uses an employee bank and does not interact with physical cash drawers when clocked in with this job.

None: The employee is not allowed to handle cash. The employee can never take a payment for an order, and the drawer button is disabled. Example: Cooks, busboys, etc.
Note: Only one option is allowed per Job.
- Tap Save to complete.
