Set a Default Menu Type By Job Type in Lighthouse for SkyTab POS

Description: Learn how to set a default menu type by job type (Departments, Groups, Favorites) in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM) for SkyTab POS.

1. Log in to LBM.
2. Navigate to Workforce > Jobs or Employees > Manage Employees > Jobs from the left navigation menu.
   
3. Select the job you want to set a default menu type for.
4. Under the Default Menu Type pull-down, select Departments, Groups, or Favorites.
5. Select Save.

Example 1:

For this example, we are setting up the Bartender's Default Menu Type as Favorites.

When the Bartender starts a new ticket, Favorites automatically display.

Example 2:

For this example, we are setting up the Cashier's Default Menu Type as Groups.

When the Cashier starts a new ticket, Groups automatically display.

Example 3:

For this example, we are setting up the Server's Default Menu Type as Departments.

When the Server starts a new ticket, Departments automatically display.
