Description: Learn how to use the expedite order feature (Rush) on the Kitchen Display System (KDS).
Availability: United States, Canada, Ireland, Spain, United Kingdom
To expedite an order, select the 3 vertical dots (ellipsis) in the upper right corner of the ticket. From the dropdown, select Rush.
Restrictions
- The item Rush feature will not be available for the active rushed tickets
- If a ticket is marked as rush, it cannot be canceled or marked as a normal ticket
- Void tickets are not eligible for item rush
The ticket displays with the text “RUSH” at the top of the ticket on a red background.
- Any fully completed tickets (green border) remain at the front of the total queue.
- Most recent expedited tickets will always go to the front of the unfulfilled queue.
