Release Notes - KDS v.1.19.1

SkyTab KDS v1.19.1 Release plan:

NEW FEATURES

• Group Function Improvements - We’ve added two new settings for the Group function on KDS that is used to roll up like items - this extends the existing functionality where like items had to match at the modifier level and would group across all Seats (Group By method as set in POS). 
  • You can now choose to only group like items within the tickets original Group By setting (as configured in Printer/KDS settings on POS - this currently only applies to Seats, additional Group By options coming soon!)
  • You can now choose to group at the item level only and display modifiers as groups underneath the parent item.

IMPROVEMENTS

• We’ve updated the layout of modifiers to better reflect which modset grouping they belong to by adding indentation where necessary. 
• We’ve updated List View to incorporate the elements from the updated Header Design and Ticket Menu functionality.
• We’ve added success messaging when setting or changing the settings screen PIN lock code.

BUG FIXES & Optimizations

• We’ve implemented lazy loading for additional ticket pages - these additional pages will only load once selected to be shown, reducing the amount of information that has to be held in memory and increasing overall system performance.
• We’ve improved our error logging capabilities for better troubleshooting.
