Description: Learn how to configure an automatic gratuity by order type in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM) for SkyTab POS.
Notes:
- If no Order Types are selected, then an Order type filter is not used. The auto-gratuity will be applied regardless of the ticket Order type.
- This change affects only automatic gratuity assignment; it does not limit users from assigning gratuity manually from the Order screen.

In LBM, navigate to SkyTab Settings > Accounting > Gratuities.
- Select Add Gratuity.
- In the New Gratuity window:
- Enter the gratuity Name.
- Select Flat or Percentage and enter the amount.
- Select the Revenue Class.
- Select the guest count at which the automatic gratuity should be applied.
- Select +Manage order types.
- Place a checkmark in the box for each Order Type(s) the automatic gratuity should be applied.
- Select Save.
- Select Save again on the New Gratuity window to add the gratuity.
- If you need to edit the gratuity, select it and an Edit Gratuity window is available to make changes.
- Make sure to select Save to keep your changes.
