Configure an Automatic Gratuity by Order Type on SkyTab POS

Notes:

• If no Order Types are selected, then an Order type filter is not used. The auto-gratuity will be applied regardless of the ticket Order type.
• This change affects only automatic gratuity assignment; it does not limit users from assigning gratuity manually from the Order screen.

1. Navigate to Manager > Settings > Accounting > Gratuities.
2. Tap Add New Gratuity. 
   
   
3. On the Gratuities tab:
   1. Enter the Gratuity Name.
   2. Select Flat or Percentage and enter the amount.
   3. You may enter a custom gratuity name for Name Printed on Receipt or leave it blank.
   4. Select a Revenue Class from the pulldown and tap Ok.
   5. Select the guest count at which the automatic gratuity should be applied.
   6. Under Filter Gratuity By Order Type (Optional), select Tap to edit to open the Select Order Types dialog box.
   7. Select the Order Type(s) the automatic gratuity should be applied.
   8. Tap Ok to close the dialog box.
      
      
4. Tap Save.
5. If you need to edit the gratuity, select the gratuity from the list, make the required changes, and tap Save.
