Description: Enable your SkyTab POS to hold off sending tickets until payments are completed, ensuring efficient operations and preventing waste. Experience peace of mind knowing transactions are fully paid before tickets are sent.
The "Send After Payment" feature is especially useful for employees who function as cashiers, where they open and pay tickets immediately, as in a typical counter service flow. However, this doesn't prevent items from being sent if the user accidentally presses the "SEND" button or when Fast Pay is enabled and the user presses the "PRINT" button, which would also send the items.
Enable Send After Payment
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Tickets.
- Slide the toggle to enable "Send After Payment."
- Tap Save.
How it Works
When "Send After Payment" is enabled:
- Create a new ticket.
- Add item(s) to the ticket.
- Press the Take Payment button. Ticket/items will not print to the kitchen.
- Once full payment has been received (partial payments will not trigger prints), the ticket/items will print to the kitchen automatically.
