Order and Call Numbers simplifies ticket numbering in SkyTab across all terminals. Each ticket gets a basic Order Number, starting at 1 and going up with each new ticket, no matter where it's created. Terminal-specific ticket numbers are still used and shown in SkyTab and reports.
To enable Order and Call Numbers, navigate to Manager > Settings > Tickets and toggle "Display Order Numbers" on. Choose the "Rollover At" option to choose when Order Numbers should reset to 1 (the default is 200). Tap Save.
This one setting will enable the following:
- Usage of the Order Number in order entry
- Displaying the formatted Call Numbers on Guest Checks
- Displaying Order Numbers on printed kitchen and bar slips as well as SkyTab KDS
Order Numbers are created sequentially for every ticket created in SkyTab, regardless of the station from which they originated. The ticket number remains in multiple areas as a reference; however, the Order Number is shown prominently for faster and easier reference across a user's location, such as delivering orders by number to guests and referencing a ticket by number in the kitchen or bar.
Split Tickets continues to use the standard format of Order Number: Split Number for simple ease of use and adoption.
