Description: Learn to resolve multiple authorization issues for Choice Advantage properties.
When doing transactions via Choice Advantage system two separate authorizations could appear in Lighthouse Transaction Manager.
Both authorizations appear to be submitted by SkyTouch as the source.
Users who are receiving an error with the PrimaryErrorCode: 9961.
Resolve the issue:
Adjusting the timeout period for the devices can result in resolving this issue, since Choice Advantage times out sooner than the PIN Pads when prompted for transactions.
The usual timeout period is 60 seconds. Changing this period to a shorter time can result in the double authorization issue being resolved.
The recommended time period is 30 seconds.
If the timeout period can not be adjusted, inform the customers they would need to use their card when prompted in under 30 seconds, since Choice Advantage times out sooner than the 60 second period that is set by default in UTG.
