Description: Discover how to use the multi-location features available in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM).
Choose a Location Using the Sidebar Navigation
Use the arrow in the upper right corner of the navigation menu to access the Location Picker.
Here, you can see your locations grouped under your Shift4 serial and then organized alphabetically by Legal Name. Use the Search field to search for a particular location. This field supports partial matches and returns relevant results dynamically. Only the MID can be selected from the menu, as the Legal Name is for organization purposes.
You can set your current MID as the primary location by selecting the three vertical dots, which will become your default view each time you log in. When a location is set as primary, a "House" icon appears next to the Legal Name. Note that only the currently selected MID can be saved as the primary location, and if the location is already set as primary, the "Set Current Location as Primary" option will be disabled.

Location Groups
This feature allows merchants to organize multiple MIDs according to their specific organizational needs. It offers consolidated views and filtering options across various pages in the portal, improving data visibility and operational efficiency.
Users can create, name, and manage location groups, add MIDs from any location, and assign individual MIDs to multiple groups. Additionally, comprehensive audit logging tracks group creation and updates, ensuring compliance and accountability. Overall, this feature provides merchants with increased flexibility and control over their locations, enhancing decision-making and financial management processes.
Create a Location Group
Go to Profile, and select Location Groups.
Note: This feature requires specific permissions and is typically accessible only to admins and a select group of users.
Locations Access Page
The Location Access page within the Profile tab of the LBM allows users to view their accessible locations and identify other locations within the same hierarchical structure to which they do not have access. This page simplifies the management of location permissions, promoting transparency, controlled access, and improved collaboration.
