Description: To enhance the merchant experience, we will update the Supplies section in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM). The screenshots below explain this new workflow, which includes several quality-of-life improvements for all merchants. This update expands the Supplies system order availability to all merchants with LBM access.
Existing Merchants: No change to the current workflows
Net New Merchants: Can now order paper via the “all supplies” option until any hardware that requires paper is shipped.
Non-Branded Merchants: Will always see the new “all supplies” option
- Existing SkyTab POS and Legacy Brand POS systems (POSitouch, Future, RM, Hospitality) will not experience any changes and will continue to select their equipment, followed by the appropriate paper for the device. Starting on 11/21, net new merchants will have the ability to order supplies before their equipment is shipped. This removes the requirement of needing equipment to be shipped before supplies could be ordered. Once hardware is shipped to new locations, the existing merchant workflow will be used.
- Any non-branded (3PI, MICROS, Focus POS, Revel) merchant with LBM access can now order supplies through the workflow below. Select All Printer Supplies, followed by your current paper option. This allows any 3PI, MICROS, Focus POS, or Revel merchant with LBM access to order paper supplies! A second version of this workflow will be released next year, providing model numbers to help merchants order the correct paper.
Note: For non-branded merchants, this process replaces call-in orders for Supplies.
