Bump Bar Usage
Once your KDS Bump Bar is installed and ready for use, the following guide details how to use the actions.
Key | Action |
Page Left / Page Right quickly switches between pages on the Ticket or Recall screens. | |
Return to the Homepage. | |
Scroll Select switches the scrolling action between scrolling through Items or whole Tickets. | |
Settings will open the Settings screen. Note: While you can scroll through Settings on the page, you cannot currently use the Bump Bar to edit the settings - please use the touchscreen to manipulate the Settings. |

Bump Ticket #1 / #2 / #3 will immediately complete and bump the first, second, or third ticket on the Ticket screen to the Recall screen. | |
All Day Prep opens the All Day panel in the Tickets screen to the Prep view. | |
All Day Expo opens the All Day panel on the Ticket screen for the Expo view. | |
Box Score opens the Box Score view. Note: The Box Score feature must be enabled in Settings to open. |

Merge opens the Merge Tickets view. Note: The ticket currently selected on the screen will be used to find any other applicable tickets to merge. Use the Scroll Select function to pick which tickets to merge. |

Group enables the Group function to combine like items within the Tickets screen. Note: Grouping will still follow the settings configured in the Settings screen. |

Rush will immediately move a ticket to the front of the queue and have it labeled and marked as RUSH. |

Recall opens the Recall screen view for scrolling and selecting which Ticket a user wants to recall to the active Tickets screen. | |
Recall Last immediately recalls the last bump Ticket to the main Tickets screen. | |
Use Select in certain screens to select any presented options. | |
Use Done to complete any actions or close any other screens where Select may have been used. Example: When selecting Tickets to merge, use Done to complete the action and Merge the tickets. |

Fulfill Item will mark the highlighted Item as fulfilled. Note: If multiple fulfillment steps are enabled, such as Mark Items as Sent, use Fulfill Item to move through these fulfillment steps. |

Bump Ticket will immediately mark any ticket highlighted as Completed and move it to the Recall screen. | |
Use the scroll wheel to navigate between Items or Tickets (see Scroll Select function) or scroll through options on the Settings page. |
