Description: Learn how to add or edit Tags. Tags are used as additional search and organization tools for locating items.

Add a Tag
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Menu > Tags tab.
- Select Add New in the lower-left corner of the screen.
- Enter the Tag Name.
- Click Tap to edit in the "Items Assigned To Tag" box.
- Choose an item from the "Items Not Assigned" list to add to the tag, and it will move to the right column, indicating it is now assigned this tag.
- If you have additional items you wish to tag, you can scroll through the list using the Arrow Buttons or Search for an item by name.
- Tap Ok when you are finished.
- Select Save to commit the changes.

- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Menu> Tags tab.
- Select the tag on the left side of the screen.
- Click Tap to edit in the "Items Assigned To Tag" box.
- Make required adjustments (add/remove items or sort).
- Tap Ok.
- Tap Save to commit the changes.
Edit Tag List Order

The Tags display in the order listed. To rearrange, select the Tag you wish to reorder, then press Edit List in the lower left corner.
- Use the middle arrows to move the tag up or down one position.
- Use the first and last arrows to move the tag to the top or bottom of the list.
- Toggle Sort A-Z to put the assigned items in alphabetical order.
- Tap Save when complete.
Tag Fields
- Active: Toggle to the right to activate the tag or to the left to deactivate
- Duplicate: Create another tag with the same attributes but requires a different name
- Tag Name (required): Name of the tag that appears on the Order Entry screen
- Items Assigned to Tag: List the items to which the tag is attached; select Tap to edit to make changes.

Delete or Remove Tags
Note: SkyTab POS software is not capable of deleting or removing Tags from the menu once they are in the POS system. The only way to remove or delete Tags from the menu is to make them inactive.
To deactivate Tag, proceed with the following steps:
- Navigate to the Manager > Settings > Menu > Tags. Select the Tag that needs to be deactivated from the left side menu by pressing on it.
- Slide the Active toggle OFF on the top middle of the screen.
- Press the blue Save button at the bottom right corner.
