The employee needs to press the Go On Break button to go on break. When the employee goes on break, the POS terminal automatically logs them out. When employees end their break and log into the POS, they are automatically redirected to the dashboard. Press the Return From Break button.

Bottom Left End of Shift Checklist Area
Open Tickets
Employees cannot clock out with open tickets assigned to them. Open tickets must be closed or transferred to another employee. When an employee has open tickets, the number of open tickets is displayed with a “Close Open Tickets” button. When the button is selected, it goes to the ticket grid view open tickets. When there are no open tickets, a green checkmark is displayed and the button is inactive (greyed out).
Note: If your job setting for Clock Out Restrictions is set to Complete Tickets, you do not need to adjust tips or perform a cash count.
Pending Tips
When an employee has unadjusted tips, the number of pending tips is displayed with an “Adjust Tips” button. When the button is selected, it goes to the Adjust Tips screen, where they will only see the pending tips that they own. Tap which payment you want to adjust and add the tip. Then press Add tip to payment at the bottom right of the screen.
When pending tips are completed, a green checkmark is displayed and the button remains active in case the employee needs to go back to the adjusted tips screen to fix an incorrect tip that was previously done.
Open Drawers/Banks
Displays the number of drawers/banks the employee was connected to during their shift that were not counted and a “Count and Close” button. Selecting the Count and Close button brings up the keypad. Select Count Bills to enter cash counted using the numbers on the keypad and select Ok.
If all drawers connected to the employee during their shift have been counted, a green checkmark is displayed and the button remains active to perform cash count. If the employee is configured as an employee that is not allowed to do cash handling in Job Settings, the button is inactivated.
Clock Out
This button is used when the employee clocks out and ends their shift. Depending on your job, you may need to declare your cash tips at the end of your shift. SkyTab POS will prompt you to enter your cash tips before you are permitted to clock out.
Use the on-screen keypad to enter your tips, then tap OK. The system clocks the employee out and returns them to the PIN entry screen.
