Description: Order types are a great way for you to organize tickets and are available for use with online ordering. Review how to add or edit Order Types for online ordering using Lighthouse below.

Create or Edit Order Type

Navigate to SkyTab Settings > Menu.

From the Menu pulldown, select Order Types.
- To add an order type, select the Add Order Type button near the top right of the page.
- To edit an order type, select the desired choice from the left to open the editing option on the right side of the screen.
Order Type Details
The New Order Type page contains basic information about the order type and its behaviors. Order types can be linked to their default section layout from this page and customer options and printing.
Delete or Remove Order Type
Note: SkyTab POS software is not capable of deleting or removing order types once they are in the POS system. The only way to remove or delete order types from the menu is to make them inactive.
To deactivate the order type in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM), proceed with the following steps:
- Navigate to the SkyTab Settings > Menu > Order Types.
- Select the order type that needs to be deactivated from the menu by pressing on it.
- Use the search bar at the top middle to find the order type that needs to be deactivated.
- On the Edit Order Type screen, slide the Active toggle OFF on the top right of the screen.
- Press the blue Save button at the bottom right corner.
