SkyTab Air Installation Guide
A6650/30 Device Setup
- Boot device (bottom button on the right side of the device).
- All templates should be loaded, and SkyTab POS should attempt to boot.
- Navigate to the SkyTab secret menu (multi-tap 5x on the SkyTab logo on the Login screen).
- Scroll down to Android Settings and tap Open.
- Tap on Network & Internet.
- Enable Wi-Fi and tap on this setting.
- Connect to the Wi-Fi network at the location.
- Navigate back to Installed Apps.
- Tap the home button (circle) in Android navigation at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm SkyTab POS reloads and initializes.
SkyTab Air Functional Check
- Create a new ticket and add a few items.
- Send a ticket and confirm the sent items route to the correct printer.
- Open the ticket that was created and launch the payment flow.
- Tender ticket to Credit and confirm successful payment.
- POS shows successful
- The Transaction Report in Lighthouse Business Manager shows the transaction.
Important Settings to Configure
SkyTab Air does not have access to the Settings page. However, you may need to set some items from a terminal, specifically the default receipt printer, which drives the suggested tip percentages. SkyTab Air leverages the same printer setup parameters currently used by SkyTab Glass.
