Overview

Enterprise introduces a flexible approach to menu availability and dynamic pricing for recurring days, times, and date ranges. This allows businesses to schedule different menus, each with tailored item availability and pricing based on the day of the week and time of day.

Example Menu Applications

• Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Happy Hour: Different menus for specific days and times.
• Daily Specials: Example: Monday Specials are active all day on Mondays.
• Weekday or Weekend Specials: Menus available all day on selected weekdays or weekends.

Current Limitations

Future releases will address these limitations.

• No Menu Overlap: Menus cannot overlap (e.g., Happy Hour cannot overlap with Dinner).

Menu Sets and Menus Explained

• A Menu Set groups multiple menus to control pricing and availability by time and day.
• Each menu within the set is assigned:
  • Menu Name
  • Days of the Week it is active
  • Times of Day it is available
  • Date Range (optional; defaults to all dates)

Initially, all items in the menu set are always available and priced at their default item price.

Example Menu Set Structure

Configure Menus and Pricing

Create a Menu Set

1. Navigate to SkyTab Settings > Menu > Menu Sets.
   
2. Select Add Menu Set.
   
3. Enter the Menu Set Name.
   
4. Select Save.

Add Menus to the Menu Set

1. Select the created Menu Set for editing.
   
2. Add menus to the Menu Set using the + (plus) button.
   
3. Enter:
   
   • Menu Name
   • Days of the Week
   • Times Range
   • Date Range (optional; defaults to all dates)
4. Select Save.

Set a Date Range (Optional)

By default, each menu in a set is valid for all dates. 

To limit a menu to a specific date range:

1. Select the menu you want to edit.
2. Disable the Valid for All Dates toggle.
   
3. Select a Start date and End date.
4. Select Save.

Note: If no date range is set, the menu applies to any date that matches its configured days and time range.

Set Item Availability

• By default, items are available on all menus.
• To control availability:
  1. Disable the "Always Available" toggle.
     
  2. Configure specific items for availability on each menu.
  3. Select Save.

Adjust Item Pricing by Menu

You can edit item prices specifically for each menu using different price change types:

Decrease by an amount	-XX	n/a
Increase by a percentage	+XX%	Rounds to nearest .09
Decrease by a percentage	-XX%	Rounds to nearest .09

Reset Pricing to Default

To reset an item to its default price for a menu, use the clockwise arrows button.
