Create and Manage Modifiers in SkyTab Multi-Location Management

Create a Modifier

To create a modifier at the Enterprise level:

1. Navigate to SkyTab Settings > Menu > Modifiers.
   
2. Select + Add Modifier to create a modifier at the current level. The data is automatically inherited by or shared with all locations below this level.
3. On the Add Modifier screen, enter the modifier name (required). You can also optionally:
   • Set a kitchen print name
   • Select a color
   • Set to print in red/bold
   • Show special request when ordering
   • Add modifier sets
   • Add nested modifier sets
     
4. Select Save.
5. Changes will need to be published to take effect on the POS.

By default, the modifier is inherited by all locations below this level. For more information, visit the Manage Data Inheritance and Overrides article.

You can create overrides to accommodate variations at individual locations. To enable this and set the required permissions, visit the Configure Location-Level Menu Data and User Permissions article for details.
