Overview
Hospitality merchants can view active batch totals in Lighthouse Business Manager and, depending on region, access additional batch management tools such as business date updates and manual batch closing.
Regional Feature Availability
United States (US) - Full Batch Management Available
US Hospitality merchants have access to the complete batch management experience, including the ability to:
- View active batch totals by card brand
- View transactions that make up active batches
- Manually close active batches
- Update transaction business dates
These updates occur in real time, giving US merchants full control over reconciliation and alignment with daily operational workflows.
European Union (EU) - View-Only Batch Totals
EU Hospitality merchants can:
- View active batch totals by card brand
- View the transactions included in active batches
Manual batch closing and business date changes are not supported at this time. This provides visibility for reconciliation while remaining aligned with regional processing infrastructure.
Canada (CA) - Not Yet Supported
Batch totals and batch management features are not currently available for Canadian merchants. Availability will be communicated once support is planned or released.
Benefits (Where Supported)
Accurate Reconciliation
Merchants can review active batch totals to ensure all transactions are captured correctly.
Operational Alignment (US Only)
US merchants can update business dates so payments reflect the correct operational day.
Reduced Errors and Disputes (US Only)
Manual batch closure helps prevent missed transactions and reduces settlement issues.
How It Works
For US Merchants:
- In LBM, navigate to Settings > Business Settings.

Under Manual Batching, select View Batch Totals.

Use the Close Batch button for eligible batches.

(Optional) On the Transaction Details page, you can change the Business Date of the transaction by selecting the edit icon (pencil):
For EU Merchants:

In LBM, navigate to Settings > Business Settings to view active batch totals.

Generate the Batch Total Report.
Note: Manual actions, such as closing batches or updating business dates, are not available.
For CA Merchants:
Batch totals and batch management features are not currently available.
