Description: Learn about real-time ticket header updates on SkyTab KDS and how they ensure accurate, up-to-date order details from the POS.
Ticket header details are now updated dynamically in real-time as changes are made on the POS. This ensures that food is prepared and packaged correctly without missing critical updates from the front of house.
The following header information is now automatically refreshed on the KDS whenever updates are saved on the POS (e.g., when a user presses Send, completes a payment, or transfers a table successfully, etc.):
- Table Number
- Order Type
- Customer Name
- Ticket Name
- Server Name
Note: Dynamic ticket header updates are not supported in Demo Mode.
