Description: Learn how to create a global markup that applies across all current and future 3rd-party channels using Global Price Adjustments.
Apply a Global Price Adjustment
- From the Menu page, select the Adjust Price % button.
- Select the Global option.
Note: Using the Global option creates a markup that will apply to all current 3rd party channels and any future channels you connect. - Select whether you want Rounding, No rounding, or Nickel.
Note: Hover over the ⓘ symbol to see an example of how rounding works. - Select the $ (Dollar) or % (Percentage) and enter the desired increase amount.
- Select the Save dropdown and choose whether to Apply to only items or Apply to items and modifiers.
- Select Save. You should now see the Global Markup.
Exclude a Global Price Adjustment From Online Channels
Use the Individual toggle to exclude specific online ordering channels from global markups. This allows pricing to remain consistent with SkyTab POS by applying a 0% override to those channels.
- From the Menu page, select the Adjust Price % button.
- Select the Individual option.
- Use the All DSPs dropdown to select which channel you do not want marked up.
- Change the percentage or dollar amount to 0.
- Select the Save dropdown and choose the same "Apply" option used for the Global markup (either only items or items and modifiers).
You should now see the 0% override for your online ordering channel.
Note: These channels will not have any markup and will use the SkyTab POS price.
