New Features
- Added support for printing a configurable marketing QR code (with optional message) on guest checks and receipts.
- The new Due Time feature in SkyTab POS helps teams manage time-sensitive orders by scheduling readiness times across POS, kitchen printers, and KDS, while giving managers control over required order types, payments, and ticket visibility.
Improvements
SkyTab Air Improvements:
- Improved speed of app navigation
- Simpler flow of invoices, focused on ticket completion (including adding surcharges, gratuities, discounts with payments: cash and credit).
- Integrated the new QR Pay tender option into the redesigned payment flow for SkyTab Air. This ensures payment consistency, avoids double charges, and maintains clear user expectations when guests pay via their own devices.
- After splitting ticket by seat, the split number is assigned to the correct seat
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the tip prompt from appearing on CFD, ensuring a more consistent checkout experience.
- Fixed an issue that allowed employees to continue using a restricted tender type after an initial override, particularly on SkyTab Air devices. Ensures tender type permission is enforced with every payment transaction.
- Fixed an issue where occasionally, a ticket creation would fail when a ticket with an automatic purchase rule discount was created on SkyTab Mobile
- Fixed an issue where employee access to a tender type is always validated. Improved job checks to better confirm employee access to a tender type, preventing unauthorized transactions.
- Resolved an issue where Pre-Auth Payments were being excluded from Tip Hint calculations.
