If an unattended payment terminal displays a static image for extended periods, the LCD may develop image retention. To prevent this:

• PAX IM30: Use an animated screensaver or enable sleep mode.
• Verifone UX700: Use an animated screensaver or configure power management settings to turn off or dim the display when idle.
