What are Consolidated Statements?
It is a single monthly statement that rolls up financial activity deposits, fees, chargebacks, and adjustments across every MID in your statement group into one reconciled document, available to download in the Shift4 Customer Hub as a PDF or Excel version. Visit the View Monthly Statements in the Shift4 Customer Hub for more details.
I am a Canadian or European merchant. Is this available to me now?
Yes. With this release, Consolidated Statements are available to Shift4 Customer Hub merchants in Canada and Europe.
What changed in the statement layout?
The consolidated statement now uses the same format as our redesigned single location statement: the same visual sections and the same definitions.
Will my historical consolidated statements be regenerated in the new format?
Statements issued before the launch remain in their original format and remain accessible in Customer Hub. New consolidated statements issued after the launch use the new format.
Can I still get per-MID detail?
Yes. The consolidated statement summarizes at the entity level and provides per-MID and per-location detail as drill-down in the PDF and Excel export. Following this release, the single location statement will also be available in Excel format.
Does this change my pricing, fees, or settlement timing?
No. Consolidated Statements is a presentation and reconciliation change. Your underlying pricing, fee schedule, and settlement cadence are unchanged.
