Edit and Manage Marketplace Menu Items

Description: Learn how to edit item and modifier pricing and availability, set online names and descriptions, and manage schedules, price rules, and location assignments for a Marketplace menu in Marketplace Menu Management.

Note: Before you edit a Marketplace menu, you must create one. Learn how in Create a Marketplace Menu.

Edit Item and Modifier Pricing

Each item and modifier includes the following pricing fields:

• Default Price: Your POS price
• Online Price: An optional value that applies to Marketplace sales channels
• The user-created schedule column indicates whether the item or modifier is available for sale during a given schedule

For each item, every sales channel column supports the following:

• Selecting whether the item is available for sale.
• Setting a specific price that overrides the automatic pricing rule, if one is set.

For modifiers, only price can be set at the sales channel level; availability is not supported.

Set Online Names and Descriptions

Select a Department, Modifier Set, or Modifier to enter its online name and description. These values are global and apply to all locations and Marketplace menus.

Select an Item to set its online name, description, image, and labels.

Manage a Menu

Select the Manage button on a Marketplace menu to do the following:

• Edit the schedule.
• Edit integration price rules.
• Assign locations to a Marketplace menu.
  

Note: A location can be assigned to only one Marketplace menu at a time. You can change a location's assignment to a different menu at any time.

Publish Menu Changes

Marketplace menu settings apply to sales channels through the standard Multi-Location Management publication process.

Find Unconfigured Items

The "Show New" filter displays only the items or modifiers that have not yet been configured for Marketplace. When you create a new item or modifier for the POS, it is not available on Marketplace by default. Use the Show New filter to find items and modifiers that need Marketplace configuration.
