Description: Learn how to resend your KDS Configuration from the SkyTab POS.
Requirements:
- You will need the IP address of the KDS Station that needs the configuration resent. (Located in the bottom right of your KDS screen.)
- You will need manager permissions in the POS to complete this procedure.
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Hardware > Printers.
- Select the KDS station from the Printers/KDS list.
- Select Edit Printer/KDS Setup.
- Verify the following fields are correct:
- Printer name
- IP address
- Printer model (Must be set to SkyTab KDS)
- Select Save when the information is correct.
- Select the Send Config button from the Printers screen.
SkyTab KDS is not Receiving Tickets after Resending the Configuration
If the SkyTab KDS configuration already exists on SkyTab KDS and a new configuration is sent to the SkyTab KDS, refer to the Refresh Data on the SkyTab KDS article for the issue to be resolved.
