Description: Learn how to resend your Kitchen Display System (KDS) Configuration from the SkyTab POS.
Availability: United States, Canada, Ireland, Spain, United Kingdom
Requirements:
- You will need the IP address of the Kitchen Display System (KDS) Station that needs the configuration resent. (Located in the bottom right of your KDS screen.)
- You will need manager permissions in the POS to complete this procedure.
To resend the KDS configuration:
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Hardware > Printers.
- Select the KDS station from the Printers/KDS list.
- Select Edit Printer/KDS Setup.
- Verify the following fields are correct:
- Printer name
- IP address
- Printer model
- Select Save when the information is correct.
- Select the Send Config button from the Printers screen.
KDS is not Receiving Tickets After Resending the Configuration
If the KDS configuration already exists and a new configuration is sent to the KDS, visit the Refresh Data article for the issue to be resolved.
