Description: Learn to configure your Workstation for Shift4 Dine to alert the Kitchen Display System when an item is voided from an order already sent.

If you attempt to modify an item after it's been sent, the system stops you and tells you the order cannot be modified because it has already been sent. It then directs you to void/remove that item and send it back in with the corrections.
The Kitche Display System will display when an item has been voided from a sent ticket if the Workstation is configured to "Print Void Slips." It will appear with a red background and strikethrough of the item to alert the kitchen not to make the item or check.
To configure:
- Log in to your Workstation and navigate to Manager > Settings > Hardware.
- Select Printers/Kitchen Display.
- Select the station from the Printers/Kitchen Display list.
- Select Advanced.
- Checkmark Print Void Slips.
- Select Save.
- Perform a Send Config to resend your Display Configuration from the POS.
