Reload a Gift Card on SkyTab POS

Description: Learn how to reload a gift card using the "Load" button on SkyTab POS.

Important: You cannot issue a 100% discount for a gift card order. Use a custom tender type if you are giving a gift card on the house. You cannot pay for the gift card order with another gift card. You must complete the order; otherwise, the gift card will not be loaded. 

Load Gift Card 

1. Begin by tapping on the Gift Card button.
2. Press Load Gift Card.
   
3. Enter an amount to add to the gift card in the provided field.
4. Scan the QR Code on the card, manually enter the gift card number or swipe the gift card on the onboard MSR, then tap Load. To use the "Swipe Card" button, press it, wait for the prompt, and swipe your card.
   
5. When you tap Load, a new ticket is created with the Gift card listed as an item. Tap on Take Payment.
   
6. On the payment screen, choose a tender type to pay for the gift card and close the order.
    
7. You must complete the order to successfully load the gift card.
