Void an Item From a Ticket on Shift4 Dine

Description: Learn how to void an item from a ticket on Shift4 Dine.

Note: You will require permission to void items to complete this procedure. 

1. From the Orders > Open tab, double-tap the ticket you need to remove the item from to open it or tap the ticket and press Open Ticket.
   
2. Tap on the item to remove, and press Remove Item.
   
3. Select a reason for the void from the Void Item list, then press Void.
   

The ticket will be reprinted when items are voided.

If you receive an Override Pin popup instead of the Void Item list, you do not have permission to void items.
