Description: Learn how to duplicate an item during order entry on SkyTab POS.
This feature allows servers and bartenders to quickly re-order drinks while maintaining accurate seat assignments, helping improve order accuracy and increase overall drink sales.
Before You Begin
- For best results, use a ticket with multiple seats/guests and at least one item already added.
- If you duplicate an item on a ticket with only one seat, the item will duplicate to that same seat.
- By default, duplicated items are placed in the same seat as the original item.
- You can move a single item or multiple selected items to a different seat by tapping "Move."
Duplicate to Same Seat
- Open a ticket with more than one seat/guest and at least one item added.
- Select the item you want to duplicate.
- Tap Duplicate.
The item will be duplicated under the same seat where it was originally entered.
Move Duplicated Item to a Different Seat
If you need to assign the duplicated item to another guest:
- Select the duplicated item.
- Tap Move.
- Select the desired seat.
You can move a single item or select multiple items and move them at the same time.
