Description: Learn how to change the It's Your Card (IYC) gift card settings on activated or unactivated cards in Lighthouse Transaction Manager (LTM).
To change the expiration date and/or service fee settings for cards that have not yet been activated:
- Log in to LTM with a username that has access to IYC.
- Go to It's Your Card > Issuance.
- Select the batch number for the IYC issuance batch that you want to change.
- Select the Edit link on the right side of the screen above the grey bar.
- Edit the expiration date and/or service fee settings as desired.
- Select Submit.
For cards that have already been activated, an expiration date can be put on them manually:
- Log in to LTM with a username that has admin access to IYC.
- Go to It's Your Card > Lookup.
- Enter the gift card number.
- Select Edit Card Information at the bottom of the screen.
- Fill in the expiration date.
- Select Submit.
An expiration date or service fee can also be added to previously activated cards in the batch by deactivating and reactivating the card:
- Log in to LTM with a username that has admin access to IYC.
- Go to It's Your Card > Lookup.
- Enter the gift card number.
- Select the button to deactivate the card.
- Select a reason code from the dropdown.
- Select Deactivate.
- The card will now show as deactivated. Select Activate.
- Choose Okay when asked for confirmation.
- Go to It's Your Card > Gift Card Sales.
- Enter the gift card number and for Value, leave it at $0.
- Select a check-out method.
- Check out.
Steps 9-12, while they may seem redundant, are necessary to force the proper activation on the card to change the expiration date and service fee settings for the card.
