Description: Review how to add a shift for an employee in SkyTab Workforce.
Navigate to Scheduler
While signed into Lighthouse Business Manager, begin by navigating to Workforce > Scheduler.
Select the Date for the New Shift
Locate the employee you are adding the shift to and click on the date for the shift you want to add.
Enter Shift Information
On the Create Shift screen, you will need to enter the following:

The shift Starts and Ends time, along with any breaks

The Job the employee will be performing

The Section the employee will be working in (as applicable)

Any Notes on the shift (as needed)
When you are finished, press Create Shift.
Review and Begin Publish Process
Review the information for the shift to make sure it is accurate. Once you are satisfied, click Publish in the upper right of the screen.
Publish and Notify
If needed, adjust the date range of the schedule and add manager notes.
Select Publish & Notify. The shift will be added to the Scheduler and the employee will be notified of the new shift.
