From your open ticket, press the Take Payment button.
- On the Payment screen, select one of the tender options listed in the Tenders list.
The items in the list and your ability to use certain tenders to settle checks are configurable for each location, so your options may differ from the example image.
Depending on the tender selected, there will be slightly different steps for finishing the payment, such as having to swipe or dip a card for a credit transaction or entering a dollar amount for cash tendered by the customer.
You can also split the check into equal amounts by using the + (plus) or - (minus) signs at the top of the screen.
To accept a credit card payment, just tap the Credit button to initialize the payment device. Enter the card into the device until prompted to remove it. You can also tap the card if the card supports NFC. If you are using a customer-facing payment device such as a PIN Pad or Customer-Facing Display, the card will be processed there.
Once the ticket has a payment, you will need to select an option for the receipt: -
- Print Receipt: Closes the order and prints out an itemized receipt for the customer to keep

No Receipt: Closes the order but will not print out an itemized receipt for the customer
You may still print a receipt later from the Completed Orders view.
If your location accepts credit card tips, make sure you adjust your tips before end of day.
