Description: Learn how to select modifiers during the Order Entry process on SkyTab POS.
On your ticket, select a department and add an item to your ticket. If the item has modifiers, you will see the modifiers screen for the item, as shown here.
You can tap on a modifier from the list to add it to the item. Some modifiers are required (as shown here, with the red icon). You cannot send the ticket until the modifier requirement is met.
Some items will permit (or even require) you to select more than one modifier.
If the modifier says "Select up to" at the top of the column, you can select more than one modifier in the list. In the example shown, you can select up to 2 choices for cheese. If you attempt to select all three, you will receive an error.
If the ticket has not been sent, you can remove a modifier from an item by using the - (minus) next to the modifier quantity, as shown here. Once a ticket has been sent, you cannot change the modifiers. You must void the item and re-enter it with the correct modifiers.
