Description: Learn how to request a Customer Hub Extract which provide an automated process to extract your specific data from the various card acquirer systems within Shift4 Payments and provides extract files for you to create your own reports.
Request a Customer Hub Extract
To request a Customer Hub Extract, please get in touch with your Shift4 account manager:
- Call Shift4 Support.
- Select option 4 (Enter an extension).
- Enter extension 4444 (Enterprise support).
- Select option 2.
- Select option 3.
Please note your Shift4 account manager will need to know the following information to help with your Customer Hub Extract setup:
- Customer Hub Extract Files: Which ones are required?
- IP Address: This is the source IP address that will connect to Shift4. This is needed for whitelisting purposes.
- Authentication Method: Either Username and Password Only or Public Key. See below:
- If you prefer Public Key authentication, you must generate a key pair and provide Shift4 with the Public key.
- If you prefer Username and Password Only authentication, you will need to provide the names and emails of the individuals who require SFTP access.
Once this information is provided, it should take approximately 4 weeks to configure it in our production systems, barring any issues with the SFTP configuration.
Note: This timeline is based on the standard extracts listed below with no additional data requests.
