Password Protect Settings Screen on SkyTab KDS

Description: Learn how to enable or disable the Settings Lock feature using a PIN code and how to change the PIN.

Enable PIN Code

1. Tap on the gear icon near the bottom left of the screen to open the Settings screen.
2. Under App Information > Settings Lock, slide the toggle to the right to enable.
   
   
3. Enter a 4-digit PIN code when prompted.
   
   
4. Confirm the PIN code by entering it again.
   
5. Tap Done.

Note: If you forget your PIN, access can be overridden using PIN 4891.

Disable PIN Code

To disable the PIN requirement from the Settings screen, slide the toggle to the left and tap Done.

Change PIN Code

1. To change the PIN from the Settings screen, tap Change Pin.
   
2. Enter the new PIN code when prompted.
   
3. Confirm the PIN code by entering it again.
   
4. Tap Done.
