Configure Ethernet on iPad for Appetize

Description: When using an Ethernet adapter at the KDS device, a static IP address can be used to ensure connectivity when utilizing Local KDS.

Configure Ethernet

Once the adapter is connected and the Ethernet cable is plugged into a valid network port, follow the steps below: 

1. From the Home Screen, you can open the iOS Settings application.
2. In Settings, select Ethernet.
3. Select the Adapter to view the settings. 
4. To enter a Static IP Address, select Configure IP.
5. Choose the Manual option.
6. Enter the IP address and Subnet mask.
7. Select Save in the upper right to go back to the previous screen.
8. Please look over the settings to make sure everything is accurate. 
9. If needed, select Configure DNS to add the servers manually. 
10. Select Save.
11. Disable WiFi to ensure the device is only using the Ethernet connection.
